Designing jewellery is overwhelming, but we are here to say: Let it be easy. You have spent countless hours scouring the internet looking for something you cannot even describe. A curve here, diamond here, a bigger diamond in the middle, but with another one over there - You found something, once, that felt almost right, a jewellery piece that feels almost there; but..where was it? Instagram? Google? Pinterest at 12am? It has to be saved somewhere, a screenshot maybe? But everywhere you look you find a design that is close to making you feel a shift like you could almost say ‘that’s the ring I want!’, but you could never quite commit. You have been trying to build a picture of a piece that you love, but the more you look, the more you find you are unsure of what it is you love in the first place. You feel overwhelmed, and a bit confused - “what are the 4 C’s of a diamond anyway?” When it is not your specialty, purchasing fine jewellery can feel like getting pushed into a room with endless information and racks upon racks of options; getting tugged left, right, and centre by people trying to sell to you. It is a massive trust fall to put your money into a company and hope they understand what you mean when you say " I like the shape with the point at the end, and has a few stones next to it " and have them create a piece that will blow you away. But you know what? You don't have to know everything, or be an artist with a strong vision, because that i
